Lon is the father of two married and grown sons, and has two wonderful grandchildren. He and his wife are spiritual parents to many. He was raised Catholic, and born again almost 10 years ago. He is currently an active member of ELI Church and serves in: worship, greeter/hospitality, senior legacy, and counseling ministry. He has served in bereavement ministry.

He's earned his bachelor's and master's degree in Environmental and Public Health. He loves and respects the environment, which is God's creation. He enjoys people, sharing his love of music (currently has 9 young drum students), and enjoys fishing and other outdoor activities.
